Several Key Terms

Becoming Proactive- involves mental and/or physical methods of turning the negative into a positive. The true "Story of Helen Keller" is a great example of becoming proactive. When you are in perfect health, you could perform 10,000 different activities. After setbacks and accidents, most of us could still perform about 5,000 of those activities.

Proactive Thoughts- During a hectic day, you might feel tired, overworked and stressed out by all of the demands on your time. Negative thoughts can creep into your mind. "Turn that frown upside down" with positive thinking. Happy, productive thoughts and tasks will improve your self-confidence, psychological and physical well-being.
